All the mosaics you see here were made by elderly residents at Bodington Aged Care in the Blue Mountains, NSW, where Francis Dutton ran a class between 2007 & 2012. Francis did the designs, in some cases based on famous paintings, travel posters and photographs. Francis is a strong supporter of the idea of an artist-in-residence program for every nursing home in Australia, where artists and other creative people are given (where possible) studio space in return for regular creative interaction with the residents.
